12 Sep 2007 - Angelina Jolie to Brad Pitt: 'Stop Calling Jennifer Aniston'
Who is calling whom? Jennifer Aniston was given some sort of a backhanded compliment of sorts last week by her ex hubby Brad Pitt. It was basically along the lines that he was nice enough to go to her and break up before he started sleeping with Angelina Jolie. It was met with a chorus of "did he really say that" type comments.

Reports have always been that they still talk and Brad claims they remain close. So is he still phoning Jen for advice on his incredible shrinking girlfriend? The National Enquirer seems ready to suggest that with a screaming headline this week.

The weekly entertainment magazine says that Angelina has exploded on Brad and it doesn't sound like they mean that in a good way. The cover hints that Brad is still phoning Jen-ex late at night and Jolie was furious, "after she discovers late-night phone chats." That's what led to the "Stop calling Jen" headline.

Brad opened up a big can of worms when he claimed that he was still buddy-buddy with Aniston and if there were late night phone calls as the cover claims, one can only imagine the earful Pitt got when Jennifer read his quotes about her coming from V Magazine.

That's probably why the calls took so long.

12 Sep 2007 - Jolie can only cook uneatable eggs!
London, Sept 12 (ANI): She may be great as an actress, but Angelina Jolie is the first one to admit that she wouldn't pass muster as a cook.

The 'Lara Croft' star admits that she is such a dismal cook that the only dishes she can conjure up in the kitchen are fried and scrambled eggs.

However, even her skills in those are far from good, for beau Brad Pitt can't even stand those.

"I can't cook. Yet when I say to Brad, 'I'd like to make eggs', he says, 'Don't bother'," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

A source revealed that Jolie's lack of skills in the kitchen came as no surprise to Pitt, for he already knew that she couldn't cook when they hooked up on the sets of their 2005 movie 'Mr and Mrs Smith'.

"He knew Angelina couldn't cook when they got together," the source said. (ANI)

12 Sep 2007 - Brad Pitt: 'Angelina Jolie & Jennifer Aniston Rivalry Media's Fault'
Brad Pitt has been blabbing away about his ex wife Jennifer Aniston and the woman he is currently sleeping with, Angelina Jolie but he claims that the whole Brangelina plus Jennifer rivalry is nothing more than a creation by the media. It's getting more difficult each day to buy what Pitt is selling he just admitted he was on the hunt for Jolie during Mr. and Mrs. Smith while still married to Aniston.

But it's not his fault, or Angie's. He was asked: "Do you find it upsetting how the media still has an obsessive interest in linking Jen and Angelina?" His response if baffling, especially when one considers his recent confessions.

He said: "It’s so manufactured. (Angie and me) don't pay attention to it. I hear that they drag my name into it. She doesn’t deserve any of this. She is the most open, loving woman you’ll ever come across. They make things up and make money off of it. I am surprised about that." Is he talking about Jolie or Jennifer?

Pitt tried to convince everyone that he is still close with Jennifer but no one bought his interview. Us Weekly has this: "Brad Pitt may think he and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston remain pals, but Us readers know better! A whopping 91% of you rejected Pitt's claim in a recent V Magazine interview that the once-married actors share "a deep friendship" to this day."

Megan Lynn deadpans, "Perhaps Brad should have gone for something a little smaller? For future interviews we'd suggest: "Jen and I share a shallow acquaintanceship" or "a tolerable distance.'" Indeed.

12 Sep 2007 - Angelina Jolie Ex Billy Bob Thornton Creeps Susan Sarandon Out
Billy Bob Thornton, the ex-husband of Angelina Jolie, has unsettled co-star Susan Sarandon on the set of new movie comedy Mr. Woodcock by pasting photos of the actress all over his trailer.

Prankster Thornton, who plays Sarandon's tough sports teacher fiance in the film, was desperate to break the ice with his costar and came up with an elaborate plan that involved surfing the Internet and cutting out old snaps of her.

He says, "We didn't know each other before this, so me and a couple of friends came up with a plan to get her attention.

"I put up pictures of Susan in my trailer from like when she was in her first movies all the way to the present day. They were all over the walls.

"Then I invited her in and never mentioned them and acted like everything was normal. I just wanted to make her nervous and make her think that I was some kind of weird stalker of hers. It kind of worked."

Sarandon admits the prank worked a little too well: "We were talking and all of a sudden I realise there are hundreds of pictures of me... things I hadn't even seen.

"He got worried because at first I didn't say anything, but then eventually I was like, 'What's wrong with this picture?'" (c) WENN

11 Sep 2007 - Thornton: 'Jolie would still be sexy if she was ugly'
Angelina Jolie is a rare catch, according to her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton - because she's good looking and oozes sex appeal.

The movie star insists good looks and sensuality rarely go together in a woman and he's often dated less attractive girls who "drip sex".
Thornton says, "I've always been able to separate sex appeal from looks... I've been with girls who are models or whatever and the sex was not that great.

"Then I've been with girls and my buddies say, 'What do you see in her?' But there's an animal attraction to some people that has nothing to do with looks.

"Angelina is a very sexual person, an amazing, sexy person who happens to be beautiful. But she could look any other way and still have the same sex appeal."

10 Sep 2007 - Brangelina Hit Toronto; Pitt Talks Venice Win
After adding another award to his list of accomplishments, Brad Pitt took some time to talk to reporters about both his professional and personal life while at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Snatch stud was there with wife, Angelina Jolie, for the North American premiere of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, the historical remake that recently earned Pitt the nod for the Best Actor award at the Venice Film Festival.

“I could try to play it down, but it’s great fun,” Brad mentioned while waving to thousands of fans who came for the Toronto premiere. The Fight Club actor added, “We all have our jobs (to do) and want to be really good at it, and to have this kind of acknowledgment is a real honor.”

The Jesse James story is one that has captured millions of imaginations as the tale has been told and retold in books, movies, skits, and every other form of mass media. In his new movie, Pitt looks specifically at the relationship between James and Ford, which started out as a teacher to pupil relationship, and then turned ugly when Ford turned traitor against the James gang.

Changing the subject, Pitt laughed off a recent “attack” by a female fan in Venice, explaining, “I hadn’t been jumped like that in some time.” Then, when pressed about the role of media in today’s 24 hour celebrity news cycle, Pitt was quick to point out both the positive and negative aspects of his career and the effects they have had on his family.

“I know the deal. I understand the trade-off. There are great perks, we get to travel and see the world. And we manage it. The only time it gets unmanageable is when it’s a full frontal assault on the kids.”

10 Sep 2007 - Angelina on her 'ideal man'
Angelina Jolie has hit out at rumours that she and Brad Pitt are a couple at war - describing him as her ideal man and perfect leader of their "tribe" of children.

And she believes he has saved her from life as a single mum.

Tomb Raider star Angelina, 32, says the love Brad has for adopted six-year-old son Maddox - often pictured sitting on his shoulders - leaves her with a lump in her throat.

"When I see the connection between Brad and Mad I'm close to tears, and, believe me, I don't often cry," she says.

And she was quick to quash rumours of a split with 43-year-old Brad, saying he was her ideal lover.

"He is certainly the best father one could wish for," she says.

"The place he takes in the family really moves me as I was prepared, even resigned, to being a single mum. I didn't expect him to invest so much time in the role of head of the family. He is one of those fathers who knows how to manage the bottles of milk, the little potties and all the rest. He is the ideal lover."

As well as Maddox, Angelina and Brad have adopted Pax, three, Zahara, two and have their own one-year-old daughter Shiloh. Yet both want to extend what Angelina calls her "tribe".

"Brad knows I want more children and it is his own desire to be at the head of a big family. He loves spending time with Mad, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. I can always count on him to look after the children.

"I'd never live with a man who considers the education of his children as a burden. It is not an issue. One of us spontaneously offers aid to the other."

Hollywood's hottest couple have been dogged by rumours they are on the point of splitting for the last nine months, since her mum Marcheline Bartrand died from ovarian cancer.

Her attempts to cope with her grief were said to have triggered a series of rows, with Angelina allegedly throwing a glass of red wine over Brad during a bust-up in France last month.

But Angelina, who has previously been married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller and Hollywood star Billy Bob Thornton, is simply ignoring all the gossip.

"These rumours don't affect you if you don't pay attention to them," she says. "Brad is the first man to understand me and give the impression we are a team. Honesty and trust are fundamental. He shares my point of view.

"The most important thing is being able to grow old together."

Angelina, who met Brad on the set of Mr and Mrs Jones in 2005 when he was still married to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston, said there were problems when they first met.

"I recognise there were times when he wanted me to open up, but it is sometimes difficult to open yourself up to the person who shares your nights," she says.

Three weeks ago the Sunday Mirror highlighted fears about Angelina's health after her weight fell below seven stone on the film Wanted - a far cry from her voluptuous figure in the Lara Croft films which made her a worldwide sex-symbol. Angelina admitted she had lost a lot of weight but added that Brad was helping her deal with it.

"Yes of course (I have lost weight). Some days are exhausting, only I'm not able to collapse. I believe in pushing myself to the limits.

"Happily, I get enough sleep and Brad is always a great help in organising our day. Making sure that our children lead a normal life is always our principal aim. Even the drive to school can be complicated.

"We have staff, but we prefer to take on these types of jobs rather then leaving them to nannies."

The couple spend as much time as they can in their £5million Malibu mansion but, with four children, it's hard finding time for each other.

"Obviously your intimacy is not the same," Angelina says. "You are always engrossed and often you collapse with exhaustion in the evening. But for the good working of your team you adapt. Our luck is that we learnt how to be a parent at the same time. I was able to relax for hours and watch Brad occupied with the children.

"Our tribe likes the idea of being in perpetual movement. Mad and Pax adore discovering new places. Sometimes Mad is impatient to know where we are going to be in a week's time. It is something which makes me roar with laughter."

Angelina says it is largely thanks to Brad that she is able to continue with her charity work, carrying on Princess Diana's campaign to get landmines banned, as well as acting as an ambassador for children's pressure group Unicef.

She says: "Thanks to my man, my children and my work for the UN I have reached a feeling of great fulfilment. It is as if I was born to lead this existence."

Angelina was speaking to Gala Magazine in France, where she and Brad have been attending the Deauville Film Festival.

09 Sep 2007 - Angelina Jolie: 'Brad and I have our differences'
But they never let the kids see them argue.

Angelina Jolie has admitted that although she and Brad Pitt have individual parenting styles, they never let their kids see them row.

'We obviously have different personalities, but we make a point of presenting a united front to the children,' she tells Weekend.

'Brad's better at doing boy things, such as riding motorcycles or getting dirty in the mud - but, in important matters, we're the same, and he's every bit as loving and affectionate as I am, too, which I like.'

The pair make any important decisions about Shiloh, 1, Zahara, 2, Pax, 3, and Maddoz, 5, out of earshot.

'We never want the kids to see us divided,' Ange, 32, tells Weekend. 'We try to make sure they always know that Mummy and Daddy are together and love each other, because that's important for any family.'

09 Sep 2007 - Jolie: 'I'm desperate to have more children'
Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie has admitted she is desperate to add to the "rainbow" family she's acquired with partner Brad Pitt.

Jolie, 32, and Pitt, 43, have already adopted three children, Cambodian Maddox, Vietnamese Pax, and Ethiopian Zahara, as well as having one biological child, Shiloh.

And after placing her career on ice to raise the children, Jolie says she is keen to have more.

Jolie said: "You know, I always wanted to adopt kids. My mother used to say that I talked about it when I was a little girl. And I've always wanted a big family, and Brad's the same.

"We are enjoying the children together. So, as much as it's absolute chaos and sometimes we look at each other and think, 'My God! What have we done?', there are many more moments when I couldn't imagine any one of them not being here.

"They are such big personalities, and it's so exciting to watch them grow up. Brad and I would like more kids, but we're aware that right now we can give special time to each one of them every day, and we want to make sure we continue to do that."

Jolie told The Times that her and Pitt have been much more selective with the roles they've taken so that they can spend more time with the children.

She said: "I haven't worked for nine months, so I've been balancing kids and doing everything, and now I'm ready to work," Jolie said.

"When I work, Brad stays at home with the kids and vice versa. When we were in India, it was his job to entertain them and he loves that.

"So it's all about scheduling. Fortunately, they love travelling, so we go everywhere as a family. I kind of feel that our home is wherever we are."
