Another day another city! The latest stop for the Jolie-Pitt bunch is NYC. They have even enrolled their children in schools in the city and managed to impress the folks at the school.

Maddox is currently attending Lycée Français in the upper East Side and sources tell the NY Daily News that Brad and Angie "are at school early to pick him up at the end of the day, and they always drop him off just a few minutes before the school day starts."

"Brad and Angelina come in together a few days a week, but oddly enough, they never touch each other. They'll hug Maddox and one of them will take his hand, but they stay apart when they are in public."

It’s cute how Brad and Angie try to be as normal as possible but they are anything but normal. The fact that the kids attend 7 different schools in 7 different countries in a span of year is anything to normal to me.

Tham Hin Refugee Camp, Thailand (UNHCR) – In Thailand refugee toddlers get a pre-school headstart on education and teenagers learn vital computer skills. In Azerbaijan refugee children have new playgrounds and learn to swim. In Uganda, thousands of refugee children are getting text books for the first time.

The unifying reason in these countries, together with help provided in Kenya, Liberia and Chad, is the funds raised through the ninemillion programme to help children driven from their homes by conflict and violence. The progamme is about to grow – with a goal of enhancing education for nine million children by 2010.

UN High Commissioner for Refugee António Guterres and UNHCR's Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie will join former US president Bill Clinton at the September 26-28 meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York, issuing a call to raise $220 million for refugee education. The CGI aims to inspire commitments of help from its members.

The UNHCR programme is aimed at providing Education (Plus) – education beyond the existing schooling now offered by UNHCR – to nine million refugee children by 2010. Education (Plus) will provide resources to develop a child's full potential, with an emphasis on girls' participation and additional activities like life-skills training, sport programs, disease prevention and access to technology.

Started in 2006, ninemillion has so far raised over US$ 2 million. These funds are already allocated to education and sport programmes in Thailand, Azerbaijan and Uganda. New projects are on the way.

The efforts of ninemillion are shifting towards improving education in three conflict zones around the world – Colombia, Iraq's neighbours and Sudan's Darfur region with its spillover into Chad. The potential benefits can be seen in places where extra UNHCR education assistance has already been provided.

Growing up in a refugee camp in Thailand, Aye Hla's first three children didn't have a chance to study beyond Grade Six. But she has higher hopes for her youngest son, Lweh Say, whom she cuddles in her lap on the floor of a new nursery school.

"I hope he can be an educated person, and this is a good start," she says, gesturing around the large airy thatched building built and equipped with funds from the UNHCR-led ninemillion initiative. Thanks to the money raised for education and sports, refugee toddlers in Thailand are getting a pre-school head start, and refugee teenagers are learning vital computer skills.

In Azerbaijan, children of refugees and internally displaced people have learned to swim and to make healthy choices in life. New playgrounds have given 30,000 children a safe and fun place to play. In Uganda, thousands of refugee children are getting their own textbooks and school supplies for the first time, and teachers are getting real blackboards for desperately ill-equipped classrooms.

The conflict that Lweh Say's ethnic Karen parents fled in Myanmar has been simmering for nearly six decades. But in Tham Hin refugee camp along the Thai-Myanmar border, his family is getting a chance for a brighter future: They are among thousands being considered for resettlement to the United States.

"The headstart he's getting here will help him when we get to America," says Aye Hla, referring to the nursery school's "play and learning space", which supports creative learning through special toys.

At a new computer centre that complements the normal curriculum for older children, ninemillion supplied the electricity to run the computers, and lessons are limited to 20 minutes each because there are so few computers.

Even so, enthusiastic students whizz through the basic English needed to follow the lessons and have learned to type. Some are even mastering Microsoft's Powerpoint presentations. "I know my future will be good if I get a computer education," says a confident 15-year-old girl named Naw Say Paw. "I know the computer is used all over the world."

These serious issues of education will be discussed when Guterres and Jolie attend the deliberations of the CGI in New York, hoping to draw commitments of assistance from the influential participants.

Heartbroken star Angelina Jolie believed she was pregnant — but doctors told her she must gain weight to conceive.

Pals say the actress, 32, is determined to have another baby next year with lover Brad Pitt.

She was convinced she was already expecting — but Dr Jason Rothbart, who delivered daughter Shiloh, said she was not.

There were fears for Angelina’s health after her weight plummetted to less than eight stone.

A pal said: “Angelina is desperate to get pregnant again, but doctors say she is just too thin.

“She convinced herself she was already pregnant so was heartbroken.”

Angelina has admitted the death of mum Marcheline Bertrand this year triggered her weight loss — but pals say she has put on a few pounds.

She and Brad, 43, already have adopted sons Maddox, six, and Pax, three, daughter Zahara, two, and biological child Shiloh, one.

The Simple Life star is expecting her first child by fiancé Joel Madden, 28, early next year.

A source close to Angelina tells Now: 'With Nicole finally getting her life of drugs, booze and wild partying under control, Brad and Angelina have offered her a list of common-sense tips they felt would help.

'Angelina was especially concerned about the effects Nicole's years of partying could have on the baby.

'And knowing that Nicole has so much hanging over her, including a stressful court-ordered probation after her conviction for driving under the influence, Angelina felt she could use some help from another young mom.'

Nicole told a friend: 'Angelina is like a surrogate mother – albeit a beautiful one who's nearer my age. But she has so much experience as a mom. She's my guardian angel – and so is Brad.'

Angie definitely seems to have put on some weight and is definitely looking healthier than she did a few months back.

Speaking of Angie, she has revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine that she didn’t use her surname because she wanted to hide the fact that her dad was a famous Hollywood actor.

She said, "I didn't want to be Voight because people would react to the name. My father was a famous actor, so I just used my first two names.

Isn’t it funny that she used to hide the fact that her dad was famous but girls like Hilton and Richie had to show off the fact that their parents were famous to get famous themselves?

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is stunned by her man-eating reputation, insisting she has only ever slept with four men.

The Tomb Raider star claims she has only had sex with current partner Brad Pitt, former husbands Billy-Bob Thornton and Johnny Lee Miller and one other nameless man.

She tells Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine, "It was never true. I had only slept with four men in my life - and I married two of them!"

Angelina Jolie has all of Hollywood talking after launching a scathing attack on her partner Brad Pitt, according to new claims.

Grazia reports that Angelina was overheard complaining about his lack of financial prowess, telling a male companion: "The reality is 'we're not a company together. Things should be separate. I think you know I make my own financial decisions."

"Brad knows there are times he should just be quiet and look pretty. I won't talk to Brad about this because you know how he is financially, which is stupid. Someone has to make the big decisions though.

"He'll put his money into things, [but it's] bizarre. It doesn't always make sense to me."

Reports of the alleged conversation, which is said to have taken place at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on September 5, first surfaced in American publication In Touch.

Claims of the scathing attack are said to have upset Brad - who has tried to step away from his image as a pin-up in recent times - and left him feeling "emasculated."

A source told Grazia: "Brad has really gone out of his way not to be viewed as pretty. He's always seemed very sensitive about it and I think he hates being put in that box.

"Brad is incredibly proud of all the charity work he has done in New Orleans, so of course, it must have been disappointing to hear such a comment attributed to his own girlfriend."

Still, it appears the storm is quickly passing. Despite the claims, Brad has continued to talk of increasing his brood, which already includes 6-year-old Maddox, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1.

Brad told reporters: "They say, 'Any plans for a fifth?' And I say, 'And a sixth, and a seventh, and an eighth, and a ninth.' That's my answer."

And after pictures emerged of Angelina with a substantial bump under her figure-hugging dress, there has been speculation that she is already pregnant.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have both expressed a desire to speak with Brad's ex wife Jennifer Aniston. It may be the guilt of how their relationship started or in Brad's case he just may want to maintain that close personal bond that remains between the two that he bragged about earlier.

Now reports claim that Angelina is none too happy with Brad's confessed desires with Jennifer (one can imagine Jen isn't too happy having Brad drag her back in his messy life again either) and the couple are now back to heated discussion on Brad's interviews.

And Life & Style Weekly reports that New York's newest little scholar's inquisitive mind is wondering what's up. The weekly entertainment magazine reports that sometimes Brad and Angie's kids overhear them arguing. According to a source Maddox has asked them who Jen is and why they keep talking about her. A pal of Angie's claims that Angelina won't answer: "Mad know Brad used to have a wife, but that's as far as Angie has allowed the conservation to go."

That's not going to work for much longer. One can only feel sympathy for all of those kids as they will be forced to deal with the Brangelina mess unless and until the couple go their separate ways. Stunningly, the couple have said they want to grab another kid and place them in the whole mess.
