02 Oct 2007 - Pitt and Jolie ready for another child
Actor Brad Pitt loves fatherhood so much he wants to have another baby with partner Angelina Jolie.
The couple have their own biological daughter, one-year-old Shiloh, as well as their adopted children Maddox, six, Pax, three and Zahara, two.

But Pitt has decided it's time for them to expand their family again. He says, "We are ready for another one.
"The most important thing about having kids is to make sure we carve out our time for them. We give them group time and one-on-one time because it's our responsibility to help shape them. So it's fatherhood first, and then we slip into work."

02 Oct 2007 - Brad Pitt: 'Angelina helps me pick roles'
Ever since "Legends of the Fall" turned him into a household name, Brad Pitt has been Hollywood's reigning matinee idol. With appearances in movies like "Seven," "Fight Club," "Twelve Monkeys," "Snatch," "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and "Babel," the actor has figured out a way to mix popcorn pictures with edgier fare.

But how does he pick those winners? He recently let the Courier-Post in on one of his secrets, saying he turns primarily to companion Angelina Jolie for advice.

"I rely on her opinions," he says. "She's the best sounding board that I have and I value her opinion immensely. She (ticks) me off sometimes, but she's smart and she loves film as much as I do."

Now that Pitt is the father to Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 2 and Shiloh, 1, he's toyed with the idea of doing more family-friendly films. But after showing his kids "Sinbad," Pitt says he's decided to stay away from animated movies.

"It was actually confusing for the kids because they were, like, `That sounds like you but it doesn't look like you.' So, I think I'll keep it separate. I'd rather have them be able to enjoy their cartoons without any more confusion from me."

That shouldn't be a problem in his next film, with co-star George Clooney.

Clooney, who also worked with Pitt in all of the "Ocean's" films, is co-starring with him in the upcoming Coen Brothers' CIA thriller "Burn After Reading."

Clooney believes Pitt is one of Hollywood's most underrated performers.

"I'll tell you that Brad's a really brave actor, which is an interesting thing," says Clooney. "People don't say that enough about him. What he did in `Snatch' is just phenomenal. Phenomenal. He should have been nominated."

Pitt already has his next two projects picked out. He'll play a man who is aging backwards in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" (2008), which co-stars Cate Blanchett. For "State of Play" (2008), he'll reteam with "Fight Club" co-star Edward Norton as a reporter digging into the suspicious death of a congressman's mistress.

02 Oct 2007 - Angelina's brother talks to OK!
While Angelina Jolie made headlines last week when she was photographed onstage in the Big Apple with former President Bill Clinton at his Clinton Global Initiative event, the man behind the Oscar-winning actress' charitable efforts — older brother James Haven — was there, behind the scenes and working just as hard.

“James is very inspirational,” a friend confides to OK!. “You can see where his sister gets her passion for helping others."

But James, who, like Angelina, is the son of actor Jon Voight and the late Marcheline Bertrand, doesn't see himself as any sort of hero. "What I'm doing shouldn't be regarded as extraordinary,” he explains to OK!. “My wish is that one day everyone strives to take a part in helping each other and the world, so it becomes an ordinary thing."

Also an actor, with appearances in Monster's Ball and CSI among his credits, James sits on the board of the Artivist Film Festival, which is dedicated to addressing human rights, children’s advocacy, environmental preservation and animal rights. Its stated mission is to “strengthen the voice of activist artists while raising public awareness for social global causes." The non-profit is staging it’s third film festival in Hollywood from Nov. 8 - 11 at Hollywood's historic Egyptian Theatre.

In addition to his work alongside his A-list sister, the 34-year-old is also working closely with another charity-minded superstar, U2's Bono, to help combat the spread of pediatric AIDS.

Already the closest of friends, the familial bond between James and his 32-year-old kid sister has continued to strengthen, even following the heartbreaking death of their mother, who succumbed to her battle with cancer in January. And friends reveal to OK!, James is very much a doting uncle to the four children Angelina shares with partner Brad Pitt.

“James adores those kids,” says the friend about Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. “He spends as much time with them as he possibly can."

02 Oct 2007 - Angelina Jolie has Brad Pitt struggling to keep his cool?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been struggling to keep their cool on the red carpet reports claim and the question is raised why is Brad so angry. According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the pressure of his personal life seems to be making Brad a bit cranky lately. Though he and Angelina smiled for the cameras at the New York premiere of The Assassination of Jesse James at the Ziegfeld Theater on September 18, the actor became uncharacristically irritable on the red carpet.

When a producer for MTV asked him, "What did you learn from doing this movie?" Brad, who has won some critical notice for his role in the film, coldly replied, "I didn't learn (expletive) really." However, on Good Morning America two days later, Brad was more open about his less-than-positive feelings.

Speaking of how the role of Jesse James tapped into an unexplained sadness that he's known all his life. "I call it congenital sadness," Brad said. "It's nothing on the surface." For her part, Angelina hasn't seemed very supportive of Brad's blue mood - or of his latest film. "It's Daddy being violent," she says she told Maddox, when the boy asked what Jesse James was about.

The magazine cites a source that claims that after dinner at Morton's The Steakhouse on September 8, the couple fought at their hotel. On September 18, Angie showed her annoyance with Brad again, during what was supposed to be a private dinner at Guastavino's restaurant in Manhattan.

According to a pal, Brad had arranged for a private, candlelit table in the back of the restaurant to be prepared for him and Angelina. But as soon as she walked in, "she just rolled her eyes, like she thought it was really cheesy," says an onlooker. "They started bickering, and then just stopped talking and concentrated on the food."

That may not be bad thing - other than her breasts - these photos - show that perhaps Angelina should get angry and focus on food more often.

Can you even begin to imagine what it's like for the kids to be haunted by the papparazzis every day at school??? They must be living a nightmare.

Still, I don't know when I will get my Coppermine gallery... maybe I even won't, so this will be the only way I will be able to show you new pictures of Angelina. Who knows?

By now, I'll start handling things this way, posting the news and new pictures also here.

I hope you liked the post, even though I'm not exactly a papparazzi lover...

01 Oct 2007 - Angelina steps out, looking skinnier than ever
She claims to love tucking into a fry-up every morning. But judging by these pictures, Angelina Jolie could do with a hearty lunch and supper as well.

The 32-year-old shocked onlookers with her startlingly thin appearance on a day out in New York. Her twig-like legs looked fragile enough to snap in two, and while she once boasted voluptuous curves, her stomach was instead a hollow.

Her arms and forehead showed prominent bulging veins indicative of extreme weight loss and over-exercise.

Miss Jolie is said to weigh less than eight stone with friends and family becoming increasingly concerned about her drastic thinning.

She has insisted she is simply still struggling to cope with the death of her mother Marcheline Bertrand from ovarian cancer earlier this year.

The actress has said: "I have always been lean and this year I have lost my mother and gone through a lot.

"I have four children and I finished breastfeeding. It has been hard to get my nutrition back on track."

Miss Jolie - who has a one-year-old daughter Shiloh with Brad Pitt and three adopted offspring - sparked speculation she could be taking her diet a step too far.

In June this year bulging blue veins - a telltale sign of over-exercising - popped up on her arms, hands and forehead.

And a fortnight ago as she made a red carpet entrance at the Toronto film festival, the audience's eyes were drawn to her knobbly knees.

She was so determined to prove she is not on a mission to lose weight that she recently declared she loved nothing better than to tuck into fried eggs, bacon and sausages every morning.

Miss Jolie added: "I have never been a fitness fanatic. I am lucky I can eat pretty much what I want."

But pro-dieting websites pointed out the combination of foods could lead to weight loss as they are low in carbohydrates.

One, theskinnywebsite.com, said: "Those are not the foods to add unwanted poundage.

"Someone can eat those three foods all day long and lose a bunch of weight."

Yesterday she was showing the effects as she left her home in a black suit which hung off her gaunt frame while her Christian Louboutin stilettos only served to emphasise her wiry legs.

Later, as she took her brood of four to a play centre, her cropped top and loose jogging bottoms drew attention to her disappearing midriff.

An onlooker said: "I know she has lost a lot of weight recently but even so, she was shockingly thin. Her legs looked like sticks from behind."

Her actor brother James Haven, 34, has claimed her weight loss has been caused by her guilt about eating well in the face of Third World poverty.

30 Sep 2007 - Jolie and Aniston share title of "most powerful actress"
Hollywood actresses Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston now have more than Brad Pitt in common after both were entitled "most powerful actress" in the Guinness Book of World Records, according to media report Sunday.

Officials for the 2007 edition of the records book came to the decision after assessing the earning power of several celebrities and the publicity surrounding them.

Jolie, 32, has been under the spotlight for her ever-growing family and relationship with boyfriend, Aniston's ex-hubby Pitt.

She also attracted huge media attention for a potential Oscar nomination for her leading role in "A Mighty Heart," in which she played the wife of the slain journalist Daniel Pearl.

The former "Friends" star Aniston, 38, has generated headlines around the world for her rocky love life -- falling in love with Vince Vaughn while shooting "The Break Up," and a romance with British model Paul Sculfor.

This year's Guinness World Records book also sees Hollywood star Tom Cruise knock Johnny Depp off the top spot to regain his crown as "most powerful actor." Cruise took the title thanks to his earnings from "War of the Worlds. "

30 Sep 2007 - Angelina: 'Brad is extraordinary'
Angelina Jolie has apparently spoken out about how her partner Brad Pitt helped her to deal with the death of her mother.

The actress, who stars in new film A Mighty Heart, said the actor was on hand to help her deal with her grief when her mum Marcheline Bertrand died earlier this year.

"He focused on all the love and all the joy we were fortunate enough to have had. He is an extraordinary man," she reportedly told OK! magazine.

"Brad helped me through everything: finding a place to have her cremated, talking to the nurses. Brad still gets me talking about the things about her that were so special."

Angelina, 32, met Brad on the set of the film Mr And Mrs Smith. The smitten couple have three adopted children - Maddox, six, Pax, three, and two-year-old Zahara - as well as a 14-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel.

29 Sep 2007 - Maddox’s school tells parents: stop taking pictures of Brangelina
One would think that parents at Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s new school, Lycee Francais de New York, would be upset that his famous family is disrupting their schedules. But it turns out it’s the Jolie-Pitts who are being inconvenienced, by Lycee Francais parents who can’t help but ask Brangelina for autographs.

The New York Observer reports that the Lycee’s director of operations, Dan Cooke, had to ask parents to leave Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie alone. He wrote in a letter, “Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition. Therefore, in the best interests of the school and safety of your child(ren) I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices.”

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have made concerted efforts to ensure that the chaos that surrounds them is kept to a minimum when dropping son Maddox, 5, off for classes. Cooke explains in his letter:

“I’m sure you are aware the school has received much media attention recently during the arrival and dismissal times because of the presence of celebrities Ms. Angelina Jolie and/or Mr. Brad Pitt. I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with their security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.”

A source tells the Observer that the constant attention of the paparazzi (and eager parents) has already had an effect on adopted son Maddox. The normally happy Mad got scared and started to cry when his kindergarten class was asked to bring in a picture of themselves.
