Angelina Jolie dons sunglasses as she leaves the set of Salt, flanked by bodyguards and aides on Wednesday (March 11) in New York City.

The 33-year-old super mom took a break from her blonde wig after shooting multiple scenes down in Washington D.C.

It was recently reported that E! Entertainment TV donated $250k to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation last year. The contribution was one of four donations, including Brad and Angie themselves as well as Jerry Weintraub, the producer of Ocean’s Eleven.

You can’t blame a media outfit for trying: E! Entertainment Television, the sort of armpit of celebrity TV, donated $250,000 to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation last year.

Theirs was one of just four donations to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s joint charitable fund. The others were Angie ($1,194,911) and Brad ($956.961) themselves, and "Ocean’s Eleven" (Twelve and Thirteen, too!) producer Jerry Weintraub ($5,000).

Not even People magazine, often accused of getting exclusives from the couple by tantalizing them with remuneration, is listed in the now available federal tax filing from 2007.

Who knows what E! — which is owned by cable provider Comcast — thought it was buying? Maybe some extra face time on the red carpet? They certainly weren’t going to get it with headlines like this one from their online gossip back on February 20, 2009: "Angelina — From Sex Kitten to Emaciated Mama."

It’s not clear whether E! curried any favor with the couple because of their donation. Other than using the Pitts to film a "Wild On…" episode on the beaches of Cambodia, or making an E! True Hollywood Story about the Darfur genocide, the payback results are unknown.

The E! donation certainly added to the stunning amount Jolie & Pitt gave away through this foundation in 2007: $3.4 million.

Where did the money go? It’s nice to say it did not go to any kooky religions or cults. Instead, the couple put the money to causes they’ve been vocal about. The largest single recipient was Pitt’s Make it Right Foundation in New Orleans, which got $1,364,320 million. They also split $1 million evenly among three different UN based organizations working in Darfur, Pitt’s other pet cause. Another $400,000 went to Cambodia’s children’s causes, a country from which they adopted a child, plus $150,000 to a project in his name: the Maddox Chivan Children’s Center.

Pitt, by the way, is involved in two other charities as well: his Make it Right Foundation in New Orleans, with a $15 million endowment; and the Not on Our Watch group concerning Darfur.

Angelina Jolie is supposedly crash dieting! That's so unhealthy, I hope this story is totally untrue. :(

The 33-year-old actress is reportedly trying to lose 21lbs in 21 days for an upcoming film in which she plays a CIA assassin who is forced to disguise herself as a man.

She's turned to extreme measures already.

Friends claim Angelina is so determined to look like a boy she has turned to the Martha's Vineyard Detox Diet to help shrink her frame.

The extreme diet - which was popular in Hollywood in 2007 - encourages followers to ingest liquids every two hours to 'cleanse the body'. Solid food is strictly prohibited.

The source says that she's lost 8 pounds already. And 8 is a lot when you consider that she probably only weighs what, 120 pounds or less?

And she's been so cranky because of the diet, Brad Pitt is supposedly completely fed up. They say he "stormed out" of their Long Island rental mansion.

"Brad told her that if she was staying on the diet, he was getting out of the way. Then she started screaming at him about a chore. 'He felt that what he did or said would be wrong, so he went to Los Angeles to let off steam with some buddies."

This all sounds like insanity to me. Do you believe it?

Brad Pitt was caught in the bedroom with the nanny. Angelina Jolie walked in on them and slapped Brad in the face. Brad didn't know what to do so he ran off on his motorcyle.

Blonde-wigged Angelina Jolie runs barefoot with a bloody knee on the set of her new spy flick, Salt, on Monday (March 9) in Washington, D.C.

No word on if the 33-year-old actress was really injured or if it’s a fake bruise/blood.

According to The Post, the NYPD are readying for their close-up with Angie. New York’s Finest will play themselves in Salt, and will march and play in a funeral scene to be shot the next two Saturdays along Fifth Avenue in Midtown.

Angelina Jolie does her own stunt work for her latest spy thriller, Salt, on Saturday (March 7) in Washington D.C.

The 33-year-old actress was seen jumping and rolling over a wall thirty feet above a freeway. Sounds exciting!!!

Yesterday, Angie caught up with her older brother, actor James Haven.

The whole Jolie-Pitt clan is in town while Angie shoots Salt. Brad Pitt was seen taking daughters Shiloh and Zahara out to Jan’s.

Angelina Jolie gets in some quality time with her older brother, actor James Haven, while out and about on Friday (March 6) in Washington, D.C.

Haven, 35, has said he got started in philanthropy because of his sister, 33. (He’s an executive board member of Artivist.)

“Angie was the catalyst,” he says. “She’d say, ‘I just heard this is going on in Darfur …’ and I’d want to be involved.”

Angie has been in town filming her spy flick, Salt.

Angelina Jolie is hard at work on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C., filming her new spy thriller Salt on Thursday (March 5).

“She’s having a lot of fun and joking on set with the stunt double. She’s in a great mood and was laughing with [co-star] Liev Schreiber in between takes,” a spywitness tells OK!. “There were some fans who were watching her shoot and she was waving to them.”

The source adds, “She’s been filming a sprint scene this morning where she runs down the street and before she ran, she runs in place to get warmed up. She was doing all of the stunts herself but her stunt double was walking her through everything.”

The 33-year-old actress kept warm in a black beanie and camel-colored coat as she shot scenes in Washington D.C. on Thursday morning (March 5). Angie also carried around a backpack… probably full of spy gear!

In the film, Jolie plays rogue CIA operative Evelyn A. Salt. The film costars Liev Schreiber as Winter, her ally and supervisor in the CIA’s Russia office. Salt opens in 2010.
