21 Oct 2007 - Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie househunting in Europe
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are looking for a house in Europe so that their four children and future offspring can have a "broad vision of the world," the actor said in a interview published Sunday.

"While we are very nomadic, we would like to have a base in Europe. More attention is paid here to what is going on in the world and it is easier to get to Africa and Asia from here," he told XL Semanal, the weekly magazine supplement of the ABC newspaper.

"We want our children to have a broad vision of the world. Spain, Italy and France have lots of quality of life and that is healthy," he added.

Pitt, 43, and Jolie, 32, are parents to adopted Cambodian son Maddox, six; three-year-old Vietnamese son Pax; two-year-old Ethiopian daughter Zahara and 16-month-old biological daughter Shiloh.

The couple, who starred in 2005 hit movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith", would like to adopt more children, Pitt said.

"We still have not finished. We are very lucky to have the means to give someone an opportunity," he said.

"But it is more than that. I can't imagine my life without our children. If someone is thinking of adopting, I couldn't encourage them more," he added.

The Hollywood couple reportedly moved recently from New York, along with their four children, to Los Angeles where Jolie is shooting Clint Eastwood's new drama "The Changeling".

20 Oct 2007 - Pitt and Jolie's parenting slammed
BRAD PITT and Angelina Jolie may not be doing their four children any favours by constantly moving from city to city around the world, according to an expert psychotherapist.

The nomadic superstars, who have lived in at least a half-dozen cities in two years, may be hurting their eldest son, Maddox, 6, by pulling him from schools and the younger three by "not creating a stable environment outside the family unit," psychotherapist and social worker Puja Hall, who has been practicing for 21 years, told the New York Post.

"Maddox is an adopted child, so he already has a sense of abandonment," said Hall.

"Kids that constantly move are like army brats, in that very often they don't want to open up to people. They feel loss, and there is a problem with attachment."

So far, the Jolie-Pitt clan has lived in New Orleans, Paris, Namibia, Berlin and, most recently, New York, where Maddox attended the prestigious Lycée Francais for just six weeks.

Now they're in L.A., where Jolie is shooting "The Changeling."

Pitt and Jolie are rumored to have enrolled at least one of the kids at Universal Studio's child-care center.

"With the moves, the kids just don't invest in relationships, because they're going to lose them anyway," Hall said.

"They think: 'Why bother? I'm not gonna stick around. We're gonna pick up and go, and the loss of friends is painful.' "

Hall added that before Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 16 months, get any older, Angelina and Brad need to decide where to settle down.

"It needs to be weighed," said Hall.

"At some point, they will have to make some important choices so the kids can form those bonds and keep them."

That's not the only problem - the kids also seem to be skipping the waiting lists at the schools.

"We would most likely not take a child for (just) a few months, because we have a waiting list.

If we take them for two months and you pay for two months, we lose money and someone on the waiting list loses a spot," said an employee at Lycée Francais, where the yearly tuition is $18,000 plus a $2,000 contract-signing fee.

"You still have to pay for at least half the year," the staff member said.

Jolie's rep, Cindy Guagenti, said that the story was "unfair to them" and that "it's nobody's business what they do with their kids." She said Maddox only goes to Lycée schools. Pitt's rep didn't get back to us.

20 Oct 2007 - Angelina Jolie Brother Still Talking: French Kiss With Ang, No Love for Dad
Angelina Jolie and her brother James Haven shocked American audiences when they shared an open mouthed French kiss at the Oscars seven years ago. Many people believed it was more than a little creepy and Jolie remarked at the time that she was "in love" with her brother which moved forward the whole Angelina is a wild child Hollywood freak mantra that she seemed to put out at the time.

Now James Haven is still talking about it. But he wises you would stop. People Magazine quotes him and he says that he wishes people would forget about his famous kiss of his sister at the 2000 Oscars. "So long ago!" he says. "Can we please move forward? Someday I'll get married, and on my wedding day they'll be saying, 'OK, we have to ask about that infamous Oscar kiss.'"

It's kind of hard when he keeps bringing it up. On another note he is still pretty upset with his dad Jon Voight. Angelina has disowned her famous actor and father as well and Voight has said publicly that he has even yet to meet his grandchildren. There were earlier reports of a possible dad-daughter meeting when they were at the same hotel in New York together, but those were quickly dashed.

And if Haven has anything to say about it there doesn't appear to be any reconciliation coming anytime soon. "I don't want to constantly berate my father – I wish him well, and I hope finds peace – but he put my mom through years of mental abuse, and it made me care especially for abandoned women and children," Haven tells the weekly entertainment magazine. "So that's my religion – helping widows and orphans."

19 Oct 2007 - Angelina Jolie Ruining Thanksgiving, 'Shutting Brad Pitt Out'?
Angelina Jolie shutting Brad Pitt out? Angelina Joie is reportedly shutting Brad Pitt out of her life by driving him away with her drinking and her attitude towards his family.

Angelina Jolie, according to a recent report, acted as if she "didn't know when to stop" on the night of October 8th - when she and her baby-daddy shared a few drinks over dinner.

Life & Style Weekly reports: It was a typical night out for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Over the course of a two-hour dinner at Sir Harry's bar in NYC's Waldorf-Astoria hotel on Oct. 8, Angie drank three shots of vodka, five glasses of white wine and a glass of dessert wine brought down from the couple's suite, according to several witnesses.

Brad Pitt also had one shot of Vodka, but when he tried to shoot Angelina several looks of concern during her binge, she didn't respond.

Sir Harry's customer Richard Parsakian tells L & S: "He looked upset, but she didn't notice."

After Ang finished her third shot of Vodka, a fourth one was placed in front of her. That's when Brad put his foot down, and hard:

Parsakian says: "Brad said something in her ear."

"You could see she didn't like whatever he had said to her. There was a lot of whispering between them."

Another witness said Brad got fed up and gave up on the whispering: "Brad just said, 'No more,' loud enough for people around to hear. Their evening just folded up after that."

Does Angelina Jolie have a drinking problem? It would explain her weight problems - and might even explain when she ate pavement on the set of her new movie recently, although that's probably pushing it!

Also, Angelina Jolie has been distancing herself from Brad's family, reportedly saying she doesn't want to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with Brad's parents in Springfield, Missouri.

19 Oct 2007 - Brangelina’s Traveling Not Good for the Kids
Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie doing their children a disservice with all their international traveling?

Manhattan-based psychotherapist/social worker Puja Hall tells the New York Post’s Page Six that Hollywood's most nomadic parents may be hurting their kids by "not creating a stable environment outside the family unit.”

In the last two years, the Jolie-Pitts have lived in New Orleans, Paris, Namibia, Berlin and, most recently, New York, where Maddox, 6, attended the Lycée Francais for just six weeks. They are currently living in L.A., where Jolie is shooting "The Changeling."

"Maddox is an adopted child, so he already has a sense of abandonment," said Hall, who’s been practicing for 21 years. "Kids that constantly move are like army brats, in that very often they don't want to open up to people. They feel loss, and there is a problem with attachment."

Hall advised that the couple settle down permanently before Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 16 months, begin to develop attachment issues. "At some point, they will have to make some important choices so the kids can form those bonds and keep them,” said Hall.

"It's nobody's business what they do with their kids,” Pitt’s rep, Cindy Guagenti, told the Post, calling the story "unfair to them.”

19 Oct 2007 - Trump’s latest ugliness targets Jolie’s looks
‘I really understand beauty ... and I will tell you, she’s not,’ The Donald says

NEW YORK - Donald Trump is many things. But one thing he’s never been mistaken for is someone afraid to speak his mind.

Whether Rosie, Meredith Vieira, Martha Stewart, Mark Cuban or even Merv Griffin, The Donald has never been shy about taking a shot at a fellow celebrity.

And now, it’s apparently Angelina Jolie’s turn to draw The Donald’s fire.

During an interview on CNN’s “Larry King Live” earlier this week, Trump took issue with the public perception of Angelina.

“Angelina Jolie is sort of amazing because everyone thinks she’s like this great beauty. And I’m not saying she’s an unattractive woman, but she’s not beauty, by any stretch of the imagination,” Trump said. “In terms of beauty, she’s not a great beauty. She’s a nice looking woman. She’s OK. But she’s not a great beauty.”

And what exactly makes The Donald such an aesthetic aficionado? We’ll let him explain.

“I really understand beauty. And I will tell you, she’s not — I do own Miss Universe. I do own Miss USA. I mean, I own a lot of different things. I do understand beauty, and she’s not,” Trump proudly proclaimed.

So what did Angelina do that set the mogul off?

“I remember at the Academy Awards a few years ago she was frenching her brother. She was giving her brother lip kisses like I never saw before in my life. And she had just said she made love to Billy Bob Thornton in the back of the limousine on the way over,” Trump explained. “And I wouldn’t want to shake her hand, by the way.”

But what apparently bothers Trump the most is the fact that after all that, Angelina is now known as a global ambassador.

“And now she’s like a representative of the United Nations and world peace on hunger and all of this crap,” he continued. “It’s called give me a break.”

And then, as only The Donald can, he reversed course and commended the actress for her efforts.

“By the way, she’s done an amazing transformation. I give her credit,” he concluded. “Amazing. If you would have had the things and done the things that she did, and to be this representative of women and the world, is incredible. So I give her great credit. She’s done one of the great transformations I’ve ever seen.”
