The actor and his lover Angelina Jolie are said to be convinced the sprawling California estate would be the perfect place to raise their four children.

A source said: "Brad and Angelina are very interested in the property and will be closely following any developments involving the Neverland Ranch."

Brad and Angelina - who have three adopted children, six-year-old Maddox, Pax, three, Zahara, two, and 17-month-old biological daughter Shiloh - believe their kids would love the fairground rides and zoo at the 2,700-acre Santa Barbara ranch.

They are also said to have been impressed by the estate's security system.

Earlier this week, it was reported Jackson had defaulted on three consecutive mortgage payments and was in danger of losing the property.

Jackson, who has owned the Neverland Ranch since 1988, was told to repay the

$23,212,963 he owed on a $23 million loan within 90 days.

The 'Thriller' singer has barely lived at the ranch since police searched the property in 2003 in relation to child molestation accusations.

When he was cleared of all charges in 2005, Jackson left the US and moved to Bahrain.

He said: "I won't live there ever again. It's a house now. It's not a home anymore. I'll only visit."

Jackson's representative Raymone K. Bain insists his client isn't worried about the property going into foreclosure.

He said: "Mr. Jackson is in the final stages of refinance and will not lose the Neverland Ranch."

Can anyone picture Angelina Jolie living happily ever after in Los Angeles or any other American city with her non husband Brad Pitt and their four kids? According to the National Enquirer the actress is so ready to bail on the US that she has given Brad a "France or Bust" ultimatum. So - what was the answer?

The Enquirer reports that Jolie is so desperate to live outside the U.S. that she's told Brad Pitt she's moving to France with or without him. Brad has reluctantly agreed to move on one condition- that Angelina gives him another biological child.

At least one insider says Angelina, 32, wants to leave the U.S. because she's worried that Brad has been enjoying himself too much in Los Angeles and New York and it has left her insecure. With his family and friends in the U.S., Brad, 43, has resisted Angelina's pleas to take their growing family abroad. "But Angelina didn't really give Brad any alternative in the end," said the insider. "As far as Angelina was concerned it was France or bust – bustup, that is."

The report notes that Angelina is getting their children ready for life in France. She's making sure all the kids – Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 18 months – are learning to speak French. Maddox is attending the bilingual Lycee Francais schools.

The weekly entertainment magazine says in the article that according to the insider, the two had a huge fight about relocating to France. But Brad relented when Angelina finally agreed to get pregnant again – even though she had her heart set on another adoption.

Added the insider: "It's Brad and Angelina's compromise – a life in France and a new biological baby."

Angelina Jolie may have resisted marriage for her and lover Brad Pitt, but it seems the Hollywood actress is finally ready to walk down the aisle and say 'I do'.

According to this week's issue of In Touch Weekly Magazine, Angelina Jolie will marry Brad Pitt "if that's what it takes" to keep him.

Brad has been wanting to marry Angie ever since she got pregnant with their daughter Shiloh. He says he wants to be able to wake up in the morning and say "Good morning wife."

So will they tie the knot? We'll see!

Meanwhile, Jolie got an earful from lover Brad Pitt's mother Jane, according to the rumor mill. Apparently Brad Pitt's mom doesn't appreciate the mother of her son's child spilling the beans about her past drug use to the public.

Angelina Jolie was reportedly being somewhat 'selfish' when she told the press about her past drug use because she wasn't thinking about her 'children and family first'.

According to Gossip Girls, an insider reportedly said: "Jane was livid after she saw Angelina's drug quotes - and she really let Angie have it when they were on the phone together shortly after. Jane told Angie there was nothing to gain from rehashing her drug use, and that she has a lot more to think about than herself - she should have considered her children and family first!"

Another source claims Brad then stepped in: "He agreed that Angie's latest admission was uncalled for - but he also told his mom that maybe she was being a little too hard on her."

"Brad reminded his mother how far Angie has come from her wild days, and that this blowup was only going to set their relationship back again."

"There's always drama when Angie is around the Pitt clan. She doesn't feel obligated to discuss certain subjects, like moving the children from school to school, so there's often little to talk about. She's even complained to Brad that she has nothing in common with the rest of his family."

Angelina Jolie’s character in Beowulf apparently shows more skin than the actress expected. She didn’t expect to “come out as much” and was a “little shy” after seeing the final product, according to Fox News:

"I didn’t expect it to feel as real and so, especially because of the type of character I play, it was funny at first and then there were certain moments where I felt actually shy and called home and just explained the kind of fun movie I had done that was digital animation was, in fact, a little different than I think they were expecting.

While millions of fanboys are drooling over the chance to see a nude CGI Angelina Jolie, who got totally duped by Robert Zemeckis (nice one!), they are not alone. John Malkovich is stoked as well:

"It’s PG-13, so at least I’m told there are things and adult themes on the Internet that may push the envelope quite a bit further than a PG-13, but we’ll see; I haven’t seen it yet," he said. "Of course, I’m excited to see Angelina on-screen … she’s …she’s talented."

The last hit film that Angelina Jolie was involved with had more steam on screen than off and that really boosted ticket sales. Jolie hasn't had a hit since she and her lover Brad Pitt played wife and husband assassins in the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The film was a blockbuster hit, mostly because of the off screen gossip. Now it appears that may be what is happening again.

Friends have told Life & Style Weekly that her upcoming film "Wanted" will be steamier than ever and the chatty source tells the magazine that the hottest scenes were added at Jolie's request. How will this sit with Brad Pitt and will the rumors help the film sell once it makes its way to theaters?

"When Angelina accepted the project she brought in one of her favorite writers Dean Georgaris to improve her scenes with James," the friend of Angie's tells the mag. "The changes meant she spent way more time with James and the sexual tension got a lot more tense, the article details.

The article notes that some of the buzz around the set got so loud when they were in Prague that James' publicist denied that there was any affair going on between the two. So what does Pitt think about the scenes and the chemistry? "Brad's tired of Angie flirting with men right under his nose," says a friend of the couple.

"He thinks its disrespectful but she's just being friendly." Hey it's just acting - right. It's not like Jolie or Pitt have ever hooked up with a co-star - right?

Angelina Jolie's work in improving the plight of refugees has been honoured by a prestigious award.

The Hollywood actress will share the International Rescue Committee's (IRC) Freedom award with the UN high commissioner for refugees, Antonio Guterres.

Jolie has been a goodwill ambassador for the UN for the last six years.

In a video message at the New York award ceremony she hailed the "close partnership" between the UN high commission for refugees (UNHCR) and the IRC.

Mr Guterres told attendees: "The Freedom award is a symbol that we will only be able to fully enjoy our freedom when everyone else is able to enjoy theirs."

The UNHCR is tasked with protecting the rights of the ten million-plus refugees worldwide and the 25 million people who have been displaced by internal conflicts.

Now in its 50th year, previous winners of the IRC's Freedom award include Winston Churchill (1958), Burmese Nobel laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi (1995) and former US presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton (2006).

Is Angelina Jolie getting too close to her bodyguard? Here we go again, the cover of Star Magazine is out and has a photo of the starlet with a man that I'm guessing is one of her security team and the bold headline asks the question, "Angie and her Bodyguard, Too Close?" Should Brad Pitt be worried?

Remember how freaked out Brad was when a young teen fan just wanted to get close to him overseas? Maybe she just wants a little protection in case a sixteen year old fan wants to sneak up and give a little squeeze for Angie.

At the time one observer said, "It was a scary moment. The security team must have been embarrassed that she was able to get that close to him. She could have been anyone," said one onlooker. "Brad didn't look very happy about it all." How embarrassed will they be about this new report?

There are few details about Angelina and the man that is apparently named Chisel. (Is that for real?) The weekly entertainment magazine does promise "Photo proof inside." One tease online from Star has this" "Angelina Jolie's relationship with her handsome commando-trained bodyguard is more than what it appears. Insiders tell Star that things have gotten shockingly intimate between Angie and the guy she calls "Chisel." Just how close are they? What happens when Brad's away? The Angelina Jolie backlash continues. While Angelina's dislike of Los Angeles is well-known, the actress, who's back in town to film The Changeling, was looking forward to returning to Hollywood for one reason: She'd have the chance to reunite with her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller.

But according to a report from Life & Style Weekly to Angie's surprise, Jonny, 34, who's hard at work on his upcoming TV show, Eli Stone, doesn’t want to see her. "Angelina's world is too alien to him right now," says an insider. "He's trying to focus on work and doesn't want to get dragged into the drama. And he and Brad Pitt are not friends."

Angelina, 32, who counts Jonny as one of her few confidants, is very upset about the snub. "She really wants to see him. She's hurt that he won't find the time," says the insider. "Angie doesn't take rejection well, and this is especially hard for her because she cares so much for Jonny."

Though Jonny says part of him will always love Angie, he doesn't want any more publicity simply for being her ex, says an insider. Angelina and Jonny were married for almost three years.
