Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are to extend their multinational brood with a child from India, according to reports.

The pair already has three adopted children - Maddox, seven, from Cambodia, Pax, four, from Vietnam and Zahara, three, from Ethiopia - as well as biological daughter Shiloh, two, and their seven-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Jolie recently revealed plans to adopt from India when she met the child stars of Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

When ten year old Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail asked the Tomb Raider star why she hadn’t adopted from his home country, she replied, "Well, I’ll let you into a little secret, we will soon." A source tells British newspaper the Sunday Express that the couple originally showed interest in adopting from India when they visited the country’s Priya Darshini Orphanage in 2006, but were too busy to finalise the details.

The insider says, "They filled out all the paperwork but had to put the adoption on hold because of all their other commitments."

They appeared to have the perfect relationship but Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt seem to have hit their first rocky patch.

Sources on Angelina’s new movie, Salt, say she is exhausted and is barely seeing Brad and her children – who have moved from LA to New York, where she is filming, to be closer to her.

Relations between Angelina, 33, and Brad, 45, are understood to be so strained that she is living alone at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel, while he and their six children are renting a house nearby.

Angelina’s tiredness and a dramatic weight loss are concerning Brad and her producers.

‘Brad and the kids have barely visited the set and Angelina seems very insular,’ says a source.

‘She’s staying on her own, working 15-hour days and the stress is taking its toll. We’re all very concerned.

'She’s on a liquid detox diet to lose 21lb in 20 days. She is doing all the stunts herself and barely has time to eat.

'She is looking so small on camera, the producers have had to have a discreet word.’

The fact that Angelina Jolie's mom owes over $60 grand in back taxes to the state of California isn't totally shocking -- until you remember she passed away in January 2007.

The state filed a creditor's claim against the estate of Marcheline Bertrand last week. According to the filing, she owes $43,699 in back taxes -- add on $10,924.75 in penalties and $$8,304.95 in interest, for a grand total of $62,928.70.

Actress Angelina Jolie reportedly slapped her beau actor Brad Pitt after she caught him rubbing the back of a female employee, according to media reports.

Pitt is said to have been comforting the nanny after she was taken ill. However, the sight was enough to throw Jolie into a jealous rage and she allegedly slapped her partner across the face and immediately fired the nanny, the Daily Mail tabloid said quoting the Star magazine.

“She got right in Brad’s face, screaming at the top of her lungs, and told the nanny to get out of her house and never come back. The argument woke up the sleeping twins, who began to cry,” a source was quoted as saying.

“As Brad tried to console both the twins and the nanny, Angie just snapped — and slapped! — hitting him right across the face,” the source added. Pitt was reportedly left “stunned” by the act and stormed out of the couple’s home. He later went for a four-hour motorbike ride to calm down.

It's alleged the argument took place days after they appeared together at the Academy Awards. However, the pair’s representative has so far not responded to the reports.

The couple, who fell in love filming Mr & Mrs Smith while Brad was still married to actress Jennifer Aniston, have been together for three years.

Wanted ad banned

A television advert for the Jolie action film Wanted, also starring James McAvoy, has been banned after the industry watchdog ruled it could glamorise violence. Jolie was shown firing a bullet towards the viewer during the advert which quoted press reviews of the film describing her performance as “blazingly sexy”.

The actress was shown kissing co-star McAvoy who was also seen firing a gun during the advert which included car chase and a voice-over describing Wanted as “the coolest movie of the year”.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled that the advert gave the overall impression “that using guns was sexy and glamorous” and breached the code for television.

“We concluded the ad could be seen to condone violence by glorifying or glamorising the use of guns,” its adjudication said.

The advert for the DVD release of Wanted had been restricted from being shown at times when young children were likely to be watching but the ASA concluded that was “insufficient”.

Universal Pictures was told the advert must not be broadcast again in its current form.

But the studio hit back and said “some people did not like to see a woman in a strong lead role”.

Universal told the ASA the advert reflected that the 18 certificate film and was based on a comic book where superhuman heroes lived in a fantastical world.

Universal said the line “the coolest movie of the year” had been used in other adverts that included guns and high speed chases, without complaint.

Clearcast, which approves television adverts for broadcast, said it did not believe the advert encouraged or glamorised the use of guns. It told the ASA it believed viewers would draw the distinction between guns in a fantasy setting and in a more realistic depiction of crime in an urban setting.

The ASA received just one complaint about the advert.

Angelina Jolie's first movie role in a forgotten 1982 comedy is set for release - 17 years after it was made.
Jolie was just four when she appeared alongside her actor father Jon Voight in cult Shampoo and Being There director Hal Ashby's Lookin’ To Get Out, but her part was cut and the film only had a limited release.

Ashby re-cut the film before his death in 1988 and his family and Voight, who starred in the director's Coming Home, have worked tirelessly to get the new film a release.
Voight, who also co-wrote the film, says, "We had all sorts of drama in the making of it and in the final stages, Hal was not able to finish the film, so there was some damage done to the film and it came out in a crippled form. Unfortunately, nobody saw the film in a proper state."

The actor had no idea Ashby had re-cut the film - and handed the finished product to film archivists at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Voight only learned of the existence of the director's cut when he was approached by Ashby's biographer Nick Dawson two years ago (07).
Dawson introduced the actor to Lee Ashby MCManus - the daughter Ashby never met - and she revealed Lookin' To Get Out was her favourite film, because she felt sure Jolie's role at the end of the movie was based on her.

Voight tells BlogTalkRadio, "She said, 'I think the little girl at the end, who was played by Angelina Jolie... was me.' I thought about it and I said, 'It is very possible it was you.' I remember discussions we had and it was supposed to be a little boy, and Hal wanted a little girl."
The Oscar winner is thrilled the film will eventually be seen as his director friend intended: "It's a big deal to me... I like this film very, very much."

The director's cut of Lookin' To Get Out, which also features Ann Margret and Rocky star Burt Young, will debut at the Sarasota Film Festival in Florida next month (Apr09), ahead of the movie's DVD release on 20 June (09).

An advertisement for Wanted, picturing Angelina firing weapons was deemed to condone gun violence, Britain’s advertising watchdog said on Wednesday. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled that the commercial gave the impression that “using guns was sexy and glamorous”.

What a trooper! Angie, 33, dealt with sub-freezing temperatures in the Big Apple while going barefoot!

The super mom seemed to really enjoy her time scaling walls in Manhattan yesterday.

Brad and the boys, meanwhile, were out for some good eats.
