24 Nov 2009 - Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie: Jewelry Designers for Asprey
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have designed a serpent-inspired collection of jewelry called The Protector for Asprey.

According to WWD, all net proceeds from sales will benefit Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which was cofounded by Angie three years ago.

The backstory of the serpent theme is that Angie was given a ring — not from Asprey — in the shape of a snake while she was pregnant with Shiloh. Since then she’s considered the reptile a protector of her family.

In February, Angie wore one of the serpent bracelets from the collection to London’s BAFTA Awards.

Brad and Angie’s jewelry will hit Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai later this week. She also wore an Asprey ring at this weekend’s MOCA event.

"We're in touch, but not regularly," Voight, 70, confirms to Us Weekly. "We love each other and that's the most important thing."

Jolie, 34, stopped speaking to him in 2001 after a teary Voight appeared on Access Hollywood and pleaded for her to seek help for her "serious mental problems."

But in February, "they met face-to-face" and have been talking ever since, a family friend tells the new Us Weekly.

"Angie made the initial contact," says the pal. "Brad [Pitt] has been supportive - a key factor in her reaching out."

20 Jun 2009 - Angelina Wants to Be Like Audrey Hepburn
It's easy enough to say that actresses Angelina Jolie and Audrey Hepburn are two of the greatest beauties to ever grace the silver screen. But in a new interview with Brad Pitt's gal-pal, she admits that she hopes to someday be able to help as many people as the Breakfast at Tiffany's star.

Speaking on The Today Show about her role as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador focusing on the plight of refugees, Angelina tells Ann Curry, "I'm lucky to be in this. And I'm sure Audrey Hepburn felt the same."

Hepburn spent almost 40 years championing the cause of impoverished children across the globe. In 1992, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work and, like Angelina, was also a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador.

"She was the fortunate one to be able to meet all those kids around the world," explains Angie. "You know, we're just in a very fortunate situation that we get to be able to give a voice to these extraordinary people."

And, much like Audrey, who continued on her crusade until her death in 1993, Angie expects that she'll be doing this work for years to come.

"There's been refugees since the dawn of time," she says. "And I'm sure, you know, my children will be visiting and learning from refugees in the future."

Check out the entire interview on NBC's The Today Show.
